Fairfax County Courthouse

Farifax County Courthouse;
The Fairfax Courthouse is located at 4110 Chain Bridge Road in Fairfax, Virginia.
There are some free parking lots located around the courthouse but the spaces are limited.  The courthouse has a parking garage.  It is $2 an hr and the most you pay is $10 a day.  They used to take only cash.  They now accept debit/credit cards but sometimes the machine does not work so it is best to always have at least $10 cash on you as the ATM’s are a walk.  The closest metro is on the orange line-Vienna.  You would have to transfer to a bus from the metro to get near the courthouse.

Cell phones are not allowed in the courthouse.  It is advisable to leave all electronic devices in the car or at home.  However, they will let you check your phone in and you can pick it up on your way out.   The security lines at this courthouse can be pretty long and it can take a while to get through the line.  Plan on arriving well before the time you need to be in court.

There is a café and a cafeteria at this courthouse where you can grab a drink or something to eat.  However, within walking distance from the courthouse you can find Hard Times Café, Red Hot & Blue, Panera, and Potbelly’s.
